Publication Ethics
The Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care (e-ISSN: 3046-7128) is an electronic journal that employs double anonymized peer-review. This letter outlines the ethical rules established by all parties involved in publishing articles in this journal, including authors, editors-in-chief, editorial boards, peer reviewers, and the publisher, in this case, the Ammar Dharma Foundation. This statement is adopted based on the COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
JOURNAL PUBLICATION ETHICS GUIDELINES
The publication of articles through the peer-review process in the Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care is crucial for advancing health sciences. It reflects the genuine work or research of the authors and their affiliated institutions. Peer-reviewed articles ensure proper scientific methods and maintain the quality standards of the Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care. Therefore, it is essential for all parties involved in publishing in the Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care to uphold ethical standards, including authors, editors, peer reviewers, publishers, and the general public.
The Ammar Dharma Foundation, as the publisher of the Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care, is responsible for maintaining the quality standards of article publication at every stage of publishing earnestly. We understand the responsibility and ethics that must be upheld. We are committed to ensuring that sponsorship, printing, distribution, and commercialization of the Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care do not impact or influence editorial decisions on an article.
PUBLICATION DECISIONS
The editor-in-chief of the Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care is responsible for determining which manuscripts submitted for peer review should be published if they comply with the editorial policies and journal requirements. The validation of research or literature review and the significance of the manuscript for the development of knowledge, further researchers, and readers of the Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care are always the primary considerations in decision-making. The editorial board of the Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care may refer to the guidance of the Editorial Board and always adhere to the existing laws of the Republic of Indonesia regarding copyright and plagiarism. The chairman of the editorial board may delegate authority to other editorial members to make decisions considering the results of peer review.
EQUALITY
The editorial team will always uphold fairness and impartiality in evaluating manuscripts without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religion and belief, ethics, nationality, or political ideology of the authors.
CONFIDENTIALITY
The editorial team and all editorial staff are not allowed to disclose information about manuscripts signed by the Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care to anyone other than the authors, editorial boards, and related publishers if possible.
DISCLOSURE AND CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
Unpublished material from manuscripts submitted to the Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care is not allowed to be used by the editor as their own research without written permission or written permission from the authors.
AUTHOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting standards
Authors of original research articles must present their results openly and discuss the objective meaning of the manuscript they created. The data underlying the manuscript writing must be accurately presented within it. A manuscript should include sufficiently detailed explanations so that other researchers can replicate their research. Reporting fraud and deliberately writing statements that do not match the actual data are parts of unethical and unacceptable scientific behavior.
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that the manuscript they create is the result of original research, and if authors refer to or use the thoughts, data, or writings of others, they must cite them properly. Every major author must sign a Statement of Originality Letter above the 6000 stamp duty (attached). The Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care recommends the use of paraphrasing ideas or sentences of others with appropriate quotations according to the guidelines for authors.
Duplicate Publication (Duplicate, Redundant, or Simultaneous Publication)
Authors are not allowed to publish the same manuscript in more than one journal simultaneously. Such behavior is considered unethical and unacceptable publication.
Source Recognition
The proper recognition of sources must always be done by authors in the use of article sources or references used in the manuscript. Authors may only cite influential and relevant articles with the manuscript they are writing.
Authorship
The principles of writing in the Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care follow the ICMJE (The International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) writing guidelines. Writing should be limited to those who have made significant contributions to the concept, design, implementation, or interpretation of the written research. Anyone who contributes significantly can be written as a co-author. If someone participates substantially but does not meet the authorship requirements according to the ICMJE, it should be written as acknowledgment or as a contributor in acknowledgment. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors have approved the final version of the manuscript submitted to the Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care.
Hazardous Materials, Human, or Animal Subjects
If the work involves chemicals, humans, animals, and microbes, procedures or equipment that have unusual hazards in their use, authors must clearly state them in the manuscript.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
All authors must disclose in their text any conflicts or substantive financial interests that may be interpreted to affect the results or interpretations of their manuscript. All financial support sources for the project must be disclosed.
