Indonesian Journal of Nursing & Health Care (IJNHC) is an open access scientific journal that publishes high-quality and innovative research across a broad range of disciplines in the health sciences. The journal welcomes scholarly contributions in Nursing, Public Health, Midwifery, Medicine, Pharmacy, Health Information Management, Physiotherapy, Nursing Informatics, and other related health disciplines.
IJNHC was established on 21 August 2023 by the Ammar Dharma Foundation (CV. Ammar Palili Group), located in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The journal aims to provide a scholarly platform for health professionals, researchers, academics, and practitioners to disseminate conceptual ideas, scientific perspectives, and research findings that contribute to the advancement of health care and health sciences.

AIM OF THE JOURNAL
The aim of IJNHC is to provide a platform for health scholars, researchers, academics, practitioners, and professionals to disseminate conceptual thoughts, scientific ideas, and research findings that advance knowledge, improve health care practice, support evidence-based decision making, and contribute to the development of health sciences.
TYPES OF ARTICLES
The Indonesian Journal of Nursing & Health Care (IJNHC) welcomes a range of scholarly article types that meet the journal's scientific and ethical standards. The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:
Original Research Articles
Original research articles report complete and original findings from quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods research. Depending on the research design, manuscripts generally include the Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion sections, together with appropriate conclusions and implications.
Review Articles
Review articles provide comprehensive and critical summaries of existing research on a specific topic. They should synthesise current evidence, identify important knowledge gaps, evaluate the strengths and limitations of available evidence, and highlight potential directions for future research. Systematic reviews, scoping reviews, narrative reviews, and meta-analyses may be considered where appropriate.
Concept Analysis and Concept Development
Articles addressing the clarification, analysis, refinement, or development of concepts relevant to nursing, health care, and health sciences are welcomed. Submissions should provide a clear theoretical foundation and demonstrate the relevance of the concept to research, education, policy, or professional practice.
Case Studies and Case Series
Case studies and case series should report specific and clinically or scientifically relevant examples of a phenomenon, condition, intervention, or practice. Manuscripts should provide sufficient information about the case presentation, assessment, intervention or management process, outcomes, and relevant follow-up. Where appropriate, case reports may describe previously unreported, unusual, emerging, or educationally significant phenomena that may provide useful insights for clinical practice or future research.
Brief Communications
Brief communications present concise but scientifically valuable findings, preliminary results, methodological innovations, emerging observations, or focused contributions that warrant rapid dissemination to the health sciences community.
Meta-Analyses
Meta-analyses that systematically synthesise quantitative evidence from multiple studies are welcomed. Submissions should follow appropriate methodological standards, clearly describe the search and selection process, statistical methods, assessment of heterogeneity, risk of bias, and interpretation of the pooled findings.
Scope Note: IJNHC particularly welcomes interdisciplinary research that bridges different areas of nursing, health care, and health sciences, provided that the manuscript demonstrates clear scientific relevance and contributes meaningful knowledge to health practice, education, research, policy, or service development.
