About The Journal
Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care (IJNHC) is an open access scientific journal that publishes high-quality and innovative scholarly works across a broad range of disciplines in health sciences. The journal provides a platform for researchers, academics, clinicians, practitioners, and other health professionals to disseminate scientific findings, conceptual ideas, and evidence-based knowledge.
The journal was established on 21 August 2023 by the Ammar Dharma Foundation (CV. Ammar Palili Group), located in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. IJNHC aims to facilitate the dissemination of scientific knowledge and accommodate health scholars in sharing research findings, conceptual perspectives, and innovative ideas relevant to health and health care.

Scientific Scope
IJNHC welcomes scholarly contributions from a broad range of health disciplines, including but not limited to:
Type of Article
The Indonesian Journal Nursing & Health Care welcomes original research articles using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches. The journal also accepts high-quality review articles, concept analyses and concept development papers, case studies or case series, brief communications, and meta-analyses.
Original Research
Original research articles report complete findings from quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods studies. They should clearly describe the research background, objectives, methods, results, and discussion. The study should provide a meaningful contribution to existing knowledge and demonstrate appropriate scientific and methodological rigour.
Review Article
Review articles provide comprehensive and critical summaries of existing research on a specific topic. They should describe the current state of knowledge, critically evaluate available evidence, identify important limitations or gaps in the literature, and provide meaningful implications or directions for future research.
Case Study / Case Series
Case studies and case series should report specific clinical or health-related phenomena in sufficient detail to allow readers to understand the case and its relevance. The report should describe the case presentation, assessment, intervention or management process, clinical course or outcome, and relevant implications or lessons that may inform clinical practice or future research.
Concept Analysis & Concept Development
The journal also welcomes scholarly papers that analyse, clarify, refine, or develop concepts relevant to nursing and health sciences. Such articles should provide an appropriate conceptual or theoretical foundation and demonstrate the significance of the concept to research, education, or professional practice.
Brief Communication
Brief communications present concise but important research findings, preliminary observations, methodological developments, or timely scholarly information that makes a meaningful contribution to nursing, health care, or related health sciences.
Meta-analysis
Meta-analysis articles quantitatively synthesise findings from multiple eligible studies using appropriate statistical methods. Authors should clearly describe the search and selection process, data extraction, effect measures, statistical models, heterogeneity assessment, and other relevant analytical procedures.
EDITORIAL NOTE
All manuscripts must be relevant to the scope of IJNHC and comply with the journal's author guidelines, publication ethics, and applicable reporting standards. Selection of an article type does not guarantee acceptance, as all eligible manuscripts remain subject to editorial assessment and peer review.
